What happened to the finish of my metal roof?

Coated and non-coated metal roofs will get a dull look overtime. This is a patina effect caused by oxidation. This naturally occurring process usually has no effect on the intregity of your roof, but

can leave it looking dull in color. If your metal roof has a black, green or brownish color on it also, this is most likely an algae. Both can be safely removed but require two completely different processes. Metal roofs like all roofing material require regular maintenance. With proper maintenance your roof can maintain it’s original look for a much longer time.

If you’ve noticed your roof’s appearience looking faded or covered in algae and/or you prefer to stay ahead of it with proper maintenance, give us a call and we’ll be glad to provide a free evaluation and provide the options available to keep your roof looking great with our full restoration and maintenance process, for your home and/or business.
